CONDITIONS OF RETURN

We want you to be happy with your order: If you’re happy, we're happy. To make life as easy as possible, you just need to check the relevant section on this page and follow the instructions. However, please be aware that we can only accept your goods if they are returned in accordance with this policy. 

The goods must be returned unwashed, unworn with all labels and tags left attached. We ask that you try the garment when you are not wearing fragrance, deodorant or make-up to avoid leaving marks or scent. Footwear will only be accepted if returned to us unworn and in its original unmarked and undamaged box. Goods will not be accepted if they are returned in any other condition. 

Swimwear cannot be returned unless their hygiene stripe is attached. Underwear, briefs, earrings, personal grooming products, tailored or personalised goods are non-returnable.

Underwear may only be returned in original condition. For health and hygiene reasons we are unable to exchange or refund underwear unless tags are still in place and packaging remains undamaged. We will not accept returns that have been damaged or worn.

Items with a seal tag will only be accepted where the seal tag remains attached and undamaged. Goods will not be accepted if they are returned in any other condition. 

Gift cards are also exempt from non returnable.

Items bought as part of a promotional set, multi-buy or other combined offers (including free items) must be returned together as originally purchased.

If you are eligible, we can only process a refund with proof of purchase onto the original card used to pay for the goods. If you paid using a gift card, we will refund the amount onto a gift card. As long as you send the goods back to us in accordance with the Conditions of Return, we will refund your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

You have the right to cancel your contract within 30 days of receipt of the goods.

The easiest way to do this is to return the goods to us (making sure they are returned in accordance with “Conditions of Return”, above).

If you are unable to return the goods to us before the 30 day period has expired you need to let us know of your intention to cancel within the 30 day period.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after purchase

HOW TO RETURN GOODS BOUGHT ONLINE

You may return goods bought on www.hewlettandco.uk by post, or by returning them to our store. To return your product, you should mail your product to: Hewlett & Co, New Market Hall, Louth, LN11 9NS

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you're approved, then your refund will be processed, and a refund will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7-10 working days.

Please make sure you return the goods in accordance with the Conditions of Return above - we will not be able to accept items that are returned in an unsuitable condition.

EXCHANGES

You have 30 days from the date of receiving your goods to request an exchange. Upon receiving your goods, we will send you the new exchanged items within 7 working days.

Any items sent for exchange must be in accordance with the Conditions of Return and be accompanied by your delivery note.

Receiving an exchange does not extend your cancellation period, therefore, your cancellation remains 30 days from the point of order, not the date of exchange.

GOODS PURCHASED IN STORE

Subject to the exceptions above, we are happy to offer an exchange for items purchased from our store within 30 days of purchase.

You must return the items to our store in their original condition and with proof of purchase – if not, we may be unable to accept them.

Gift purchases made on or after 1st November can be returned until 15th January.

Items purchased in store and returned in store within 30 days will be offered an exchange or gift card. No refunds given.

This does not affect your legal rights.
