To make life as easy as possible, you just need to check the relevant section on this page and follow the instructions. However, please be aware that we can only accept your goods if they are returned in accordance with this policy. 

 

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?

  • Items purchased online can be returned to us within 30 days of delivery.*

  • All returned items must be unworn and in their original condition.

  • To obtain a refund or exchange, proof of purchase must be provided for the item you wish to return.

  • Please note socks are excluded from returns for hygiene reasons.

    * Please read conditions of return to ensure you're eligible. 

HOW TO RETURN GOODS FOR REFUND

In the unlikely event you received an item that is faulty or damaged please contact customers services BEFORE returning your order (sales@hewlettandco.uk

If for some reason your shoes don't quite fit or they're unsuitable, don't worry, you can return them back to us within 30 days by post. 

 

Please check that your return meets the Conditions of Return (below) and ensure you're within the time limits set out in Your Right To Cancel (below).

  
  • Step 1. Please complete your delivery form and make a note requesting an exchange/refund and circle the reason code (if you would like an exchange, please state which size you would like).
  • Step 2. Place your shoes and the delivery note inside the mailbag and seal (please don't add tape directly onto the box).
  • Step 3. Make sure our returns address is on the front:

  • Step 4. Once your bag is sealed, with the delivery note inside, and our returns address is on the front, head to your local post office where they will take care of the rest for you.
*Please note, you'll need to pay the return postage and we recommend obtaining proof of postage. We cannot accept liability for goods that get lost or damaged in transit back to us.

  • If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. 
  • We cannot accept liability for goods that get lost or damaged in transit back to us. 
  • Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your request.
  • If you're approved, then your refund/exchange will be processed within 72 hours.
  • If you have requested a refund, this will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7-14 working days.
Please make sure you return the goods in accordance with the Conditions of Return & within time limits of Your Right To Cancel - we will not be able to accept items that do not meet these requirements.

Useful Info 

  • If you wish to exchange your order than please ensure we've receive it within 30 days from the date of you receiving your order to complete an exchange.
  • Upon receiving your goods, we will dispatch your new exchanged items within 7 working days.
  • Receiving an exchange does not extend your cancellation period, therefore, your cancellation remains 30 days from the point of original delivery, not the date of exchanged delivery.

I'VE LOST MY RETURNS FORM?

We’re really sorry you didn’t get a Returns Form with your item. You can download and complete this HERE 

Please ensure you that you write your order number on the returns form so we know it belongs to you once we receive it back at our warehouse. 

WHAT DO I DO IF MY ITEM HAS A FAULT?

We’re really sorry you’ve had any problem with your item. In order for us to determine whether there is a fault or not, we would need to assess the item, so we can assist you further.

CONDITIONS OF RETURN

The goods must be returned unwashed, unworn with all labels and tags left attached. We ask that you try the items when you are not wearing fragrance, deodorant or make-up to avoid leaving marks or scent.

Footwear will only be accepted if returned to us unworn and in its original unmarked and undamaged box (inc: no tape applied to the box). Goods will not be accepted if they are returned in any other condition. 

Items with a seal tag will only be accepted where the seal tag remains attached and undamaged. Goods will not be accepted if they are returned in any other condition. 

Gift cards are also exempt and non returnable.

Items bought as part of a promotional set, multi-buy or other combined offers (including free items) must be returned together as originally purchased.

If you are eligible, we can only process a refund onto the original card used to pay for the goods. If you paid using a gift card, we will refund the amount onto a gift card.

As long as you send the goods back to us in accordance with the Conditions of Return, we will refund your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

You have the right to cancel your contract within 30 days of receipt of the goods.

The easiest way to do this is to return the goods to us (making sure they are returned in accordance with Conditions of Return, above).

If you are unable to return the goods to us before the 30 day period has expired you need to let us know of your intention to cancel within the 30 day period.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Tape has been applied to the box and is no longer saleable
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after purchase
